Kinkaid 3/13/16

Fished Kinkaid yesterday.  It fished more like mid April than mid March.  Bass were shallow and wanted fast baits.  Were hitting spinner baits burned under the surface but bites were few and far between, never caught more than two off any one spot.  The lake is a mess, as muddy as I have ever seen it with debris floating in areas, had what seemed like 2" of heavy rain between 1 and 4 yesterday there were tons of waterfalls coming in.  Found water from 49 to 60 degrees.

Hey thanks for the report!!  I LOVE kinkaid.  I really  need to get down there more.  Some big ole crappie in that lake, the biggest ive ever seen.  Last time i was down there, i had a tough time (i was trying for walleye), but my buddy caught a little musky (18 inches) on a wacky worm of all things lol.  Keep the reports coming!
