We put in at Aldrich around 11:00. Ran up river to find chocolate milk. Came back towards Highpoint and found better water at 57-60 degrees.  A few short bass and a white between our group on jigs and spinners. Can't wait for the crappie to crank it up!

I had a pretty tough day, started in rb cove in heavy fog. Threw a rock crawler around the ramp and got nothing. Eased up to Orleans trail, threw the crawler for quite a while to no avail and switched to s 3/8 jig and finally got a bite on a point.

Pulled up and went toward state park, and wanted to try a new Carolina rig setup. Ended up catching one on a black lizard but nothing else there. Moved up further to cedar ridge and caught the best fish of the day on a secondary point up there, might have gone 3.

Beautiful day, just couldn't really get onto them. Caught a couple on the Ned too as the day was winding down.

We put in at Cedar and caught ever thing but what we wanted. White bass, black bass, drum even a channel but no crappie or walleye. Water was pretty nice around 60* and wasn't nearly as bad looking as it was at Ruark last trip. We probably did better than 30 between us but thought sure the crappie would be on the move.

Got turned around in the fog til I decided you need to either look at the compass or the GPS but not both at the same time.
