bkbying89 Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Fishing seems to be slow in a lot of streams in our Ozarks. Time of year or just bad timing?
Members jackdizo Posted March 28, 2016 Members Posted March 28, 2016 Ouch, That is slow... Been wanting to get down to the Point to see it for myself. I was told by another crew that went down there that it was a little tough, but nothing like that. Said they were finding a lot of fish where you would not think they would normally be. Also heard a lot of the fish moved upstream from Greer... Thanks for the report. Appreciate it.
Brian Sloss Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Fishing has been slow for sure lately. The only good reports I have had lately have been on the upper river (Thomasville to Greer). Smallmouth have been hitting during the warmer parts of the day up there. There are a few stray trout up there, but mostly it is samllmouth that are being caught there with maybe a trout or two. They have not stocked this year from Turner to Riverton yet so I called the other day. There is a problem on the Montauk end, but should be sorted out soon. No, I don't know exactly when. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
