Dan the fisherman Posted March 27, 2016 Posted March 27, 2016 I got on the water around 10-1030. I launched out of MN headed to the main lake. I idled over a couple of spots and finally in the third spot I graphed what I was looking for, a big school of fish. I trolled the area for about 3hrs, and really all fish came within the first hour. Ended up with 5 striper 3 of which were keepers and a whole bunch of whites. By 12 or so the fish had moved on and I tried to relocate them but with the wind picking up and temps seems to be dropping I decided to call it s day. No Live bait today. All fish were on cranks and swim baits Blll, zarraspook, Vinsott and 2 others 5
M_Taylor Posted March 28, 2016 Posted March 28, 2016 Thanks for the report. Keep it up. Dan the fisherman 1
Vinsott Posted March 29, 2016 Posted March 29, 2016 I think I saw you out that day. Tried with a friend for crappie again. Caught 4 or 5 all small ones. Was chilly out for sure. Saw most boats between HSB and MN. If you want company I'll go with you one day. My fishing buddy caught some fat spots on the crappie jigs. I owe him for most, and biggest fish of the day.(only $2).
