Good luck tomorrow Dan. I was out for about 2 hours today in PC. Windy & murky. Did catch a couple small spots and a nice 17" smallie. Then I broke the transducer bracket on the Minn Kota in a brush pile. So thats my project for tomorrow. Guys from back home Chicago coming this weekend. Last year we did great on stripers in the Rt. 12 basin. Don't see that this time. Hope to find some whites or crappies with them. Be safe.

Made up to HC today. Did well, caught 1 striper, 2 whites and a bunch of small crappie.  I didn't get to fish as much as I was wanted but long enough I guess.  Water temp at HSB 55, HC was 56-57 and war eagle was 57-58.  Water looked real good in all places.

Dan-

Will be launching out of HC again tomorrow afternoon. Working hard to get my young boys on some top water action with either whites or striper. Some reports are confirming that it's starting to happen. Can you confirm? The whites I got into the other evening were about 8-10 feet deep with an occasional surface splash around dusk.

Yesterday late I hit HC and HB. No whites or striper but several great bass on some main lake points with a big swim bait.

Thanks again for for all of the great reports.

Oh yes definitely.  I've seen a lot of striper/whites on top the last 2-3 weeks. The best times for surface actions have been super early or evening into dark, especially when the wind isn't blowing to much.   Oh and cloud days have been great also, again if the wind isn't blowing to much.   today I launched out of MN and ended my day past point 12 lol,  seems like that's been the norm for me lately.  (Covering water)
