jdelow77 Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 Going out tomorrow , but I will be on foot , anyone been up war eagle by the mill or cemetary hole ? I heard walleye were below the mill but I don't know if that's the truth ?
hoglaw Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 It wouldn't surprise me at all. Creek is running high though according to the graph. not sure about water clarity.
Dan the fisherman Posted April 2, 2016 Posted April 2, 2016 I'd like to know also. I love fishing creeks from the bank.
jdelow77 Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 The bluff below cemetary hole it's been good to me in years past ! Hopefully they stack up down there ...
jdelow77 Posted April 2, 2016 Author Posted April 2, 2016 Got one keeper walleye ( barely ) 16 bass four perch I walked as far down from the mill as I could , and was using a crank bait and minnows , the crank bait was an old orange and black crawfish pattern ( storm I think ) the walleye and all the decent bass came on the crank bait ... Stump bumper and chi0082 2
Dan the fisherman Posted April 3, 2016 Posted April 3, 2016 No whites up there yet huh.. Sounds like u still tore some fish up . Nice reports
Members vuekid Posted April 3, 2016 Members Posted April 3, 2016 Twin bridge, lots of whites caught using crawdads. Only lasted for 1 hour then bite stopped. 4-5pm
jdelow77 Posted April 3, 2016 Author Posted April 3, 2016 No whites to date , they have to be there soon , with air temps the next few days ..I always do well in the spot I was at yesterday , the bass seem to bite first then the whites come later ...most bass were small but a few were two pounds or so ..
