Decided to head to Taylor after work Friday afternoon. On my way I stopped at 215 and fished for 20 minutes or so, not a nibble. I got to Taylor right around 5:15 and took the boat to the mud bank straight across from the parking lot. Fished for awhile with no action so I kept moving up river and BINGO finally found more than 1 fish in the same spot. I tied the boat up and proceeded to catch my limit within the next hour. It felt good to finally catch fish on consecutive casts. I was using a purple swimming minnow on an eight ounce lead head. Now the bad news, went back Saturday morning to the same spot and caught 6 more pretty quickly, then that was it. I fished around Taylor for 4 or 5 hours and did end up catching 14 so definitely could have been worse. Fished for forever for that 15th fish but couldn't get bit anywhere.
