Members Jross Posted April 18, 2016 Members Posted April 18, 2016 I have a crew of guys coming down on Thursday evening looking to do some bass/crappie fishing and was curious if we need head up the gravois or down to the glaize? Also any advice on what they are biting on would be helpful also thanks. Joe
WeekendWarrior Posted April 18, 2016 Posted April 18, 2016 My advice is you can't go wrong with gravois or the glaize but your problem is going to be that the Big Bass Bash is this weekend and there will be boats everywhere. I have been catching them shallow on the secondary points mostly, 2 inch grubs with 1/32 to 1/16 oz head depending on wind, they want it VERY slow. Good luck
nomolites Posted April 19, 2016 Posted April 19, 2016 The fish are just coming onto beds; were there in the afternoons and gone in the mornings last weekend. I agree with WW, you will need to wait in line to get into a spawning pocket this weekend with the BBB....fishing should be excellent though. Mike
Members Fat Cat Posted April 19, 2016 Members Posted April 19, 2016 I had 2 limits last weekend near 35mm not many boats lots of crappie.
