mrgungho Posted April 24, 2016 Posted April 24, 2016 Good evening all, I get the opportunity to come fish Table Rock this coming Friday and Saturday. Will be staying near Campbell Point. It looks like Big Creek will be my focus and I'm curious if anyone knows current water clarity in that vicinity? I've only fished Indian Point and Aunts Creek areas before so this will be a new locale for me. Thanks in advance for any info you may be able to share! Members Brett Groeteke Posted April 24, 2016 Members Posted April 24, 2016 I fished from Campbell Point up to Indian point this weekend, even up in the James some and Campbell point had the clearest water I saw, probably pushing 8-10 ft visibility. I can tell you that the big bass of the tournament came out of big creek
mrgungho Posted April 24, 2016 Author Posted April 24, 2016 Thank you much Brett. It looks like it's sposed to rain quite a bit between now and then so we'll see how it goes. Hopefully I'll be able to post a good report Saturday night! "Some go to church and think about fishing, others go fishing and think about God."

I've seen the recent reports and plan on throwing jig, fluke, topwater and grub or swimbait primarily.. (Lil ned here and there) If anyone else would like to chime in on baits or suggestions for this area it would be most appreciated. I'm thinking pbj on jigs and ned green pumpkin or pearl fluke .. Monkey butt on top and some smoke pepper or pro blue on the grub/swimbait rig. "Some go to church and think about fishing, others go fishing and think about God."

I haven't been out in over a month and thought the wart might have slowed way down. Blades and warts are my two favorite bites!!!
