Was wondering if the Hazelgreen access is still accessible with the closing of the outer road bridge.  In addition does anyone know if the river is free of blockages to the 133 bridge?  Wanting to take a Kayak trip, and if "Open" enough, would like to take my kids along.

That's good to know.  Do you know about the river and if it is clear or are there any major log jams with all the flooding?  Thanks,

Any information on water level and clarity,  in this area would be helpful to me also. I will be doing a 3 day float from a few miles up from hazel green to hwy 7 starting next friday.

The USGS gage shows a steadily dropping river and ideal levels. This probably means clarity is good. The rivers east of the upper basin got a big dose or rain this week and are rising. I'm not sure how much gasconade got but there maybe I rise coming down that won't show on the gage for a day or two.

Thanks Greasy B. I have been watching the usgs. I figured it was all good. Hopefully the weather holds for us between now and then

Access is open, and the river was clear of all blockages as of 3 weeks ago from hazelgreen to 133. There WAS a big blockage just downstream of 133 (past the access) and that one was particularly dangerous. Kayak drag only.
