Fishing report CC 6-3-16

[Hammer time]

Put in at 10am to good stain and 72.1 water temperature. Went up River and was slow rolling war eagle tandem 1/2 oz blade on channel banks in buck brush. Caught several all shorts and 1 short eye.

Decided to head down to swings and bluffs with deeper water close by and game on! 3/8 oz fb jig in black/purple with black/blue rage craw trailer. Had over 30 fish and 1 slab crappie and 1 keeper eye. Those eyes will eat anything! Stayed on same type banks down to Birch and back(water got much clearer and 78.2 temp) at Birch.

Ended up with only 6 keeps but had a blast,several back to back cast and at times though I'd get bit on every cast. Fish were in 2-10fow

Thanks for the report, spfd cove to birch has always been a great area for me especially using a jig & a spinnerbait.
