Members roscoe dog Posted March 7, 2007 Members Posted March 7, 2007 My wife and I are planning a trip to Table Rock this july. Can anyone recommend a place to stay. We want a cabin on the lake. I will have my boat so will need a slip and ramp. Some places I have tried have a one week min. stay. I will be there for 5 days. Dont need anything fancy, just a nice place to relax. We dont do the Branson thing so out of the way place is what we want.

Bill P Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 Used to stay at Holiday Hideaway,on Aunt's Creek. holidayhideaway.com Not bad,and the rates were good. They had a fishing package that fit my 5-day trips.
Members roscoe dog Posted March 7, 2007 Author Members Posted March 7, 2007 Thanks for the information. They require a one week min. stay. That seems to be the case with all the resorts I have contacted so it looks like Table Rock is out.
pvspmo Posted March 7, 2007 Posted March 7, 2007 you might try Quail Cove Resort. 417-858-2049 used to stay there in the spring and fall... it is located between Shell Knob and Campbell Point. Nice ramp/dock and good people.
chub minnow Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Also try Hidden Cove Resort. It is right by the Central Crossing Bridge, has a dock right across from the launch ramp and I am pretty sure they rent by the night. No luxury here, but you are right on all of the good fishing.
Bill Babler Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 Lived at Shell Knob, for 15 years, and guide the area over 100 days per year and if I were going in July, I would not lock myself up at the end of the Kings River, under any circumstance. Stay away from the Kings unless you are a night fisherman, and then Its pretty good. In July, you want main lake K's. If at all possible, find one of the many resorts on the main White River arm of the lake. Ouail Cove would be great Hardmans Hollow Ok Play Port basic accom. but great access and super people Excellent accom and the best fishing in July, Probably Indian Hills. All have private launching ramps, docks and good accom. There are tons more as Shell Knob and Baxter are resort Meca's. You will be about a 45 minute drive to either Eureka Springs or Branson. http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Kicknbass Posted March 8, 2007 Posted March 8, 2007 We stay at ShoreAcres at the end of DD near Kimberling City at about the 6 mile marker. Lots of gravel points to drag a rig around on. They have cabins a pool for the kids and a boat dock. Good folks running the place. Good Luck. " Too many hobbies to work" - "Must work to eat and play"
Members 5 Keepers Posted March 28, 2007 Members Posted March 28, 2007 We have a vacation house in Coney Island. 12 x 60, 2 br 1 bath. We sometimes rent by the night. If you don't find something let me know. Coney is north and across the lake from point 6 on the T shaped peninsula. mkoso@budweiser.com Life's Short ... Fish Hard
