waterpossum Posted July 5, 2016 Posted July 5, 2016 Arrived at Ruark at 7 pm yesterday eve and did a little bass fishing till 11. Found a wakeboard floating in the middle of Birch Branch. Actually I think its called a knee board. The fishing was ok, nothing great, but the small 14" bass kept me interested. Funny, but that's the least amount of boat traffic I have encountered this summer. Everyone I'm sure were going to the local fireworks displays. The board is in my possession if some body would like to identify it and claim it. I can only guess it must have blown out of a boat because of the location where I found it.

A lot of good fisherman. Well run tournament. The only worry, usually not mine, which has been well handled so far is fish mortality. Did you see pictures of the recent Grand Lake fiasco?
Mhyde Posted July 6, 2016 Posted July 6, 2016 No, but I was told there was a bunch of dead ones after a tournament down at cape fair.
dprice Posted July 7, 2016 Posted July 7, 2016 Don't want to make some one angry But call me And I'd be glad to take them I've been told its illegal to dip net fish But I don't really care if they are dying and wasting Seems different rules apply here just stay with in your creel (our wardens on Stockton are very smart and stand up people ) Another tip You should look into I have carried a spare Aeriator in my boat since I have tournament fished I piped it just above water level and installed alligator clips for less than 25.00 back then Never really needed it as I have 2 aerators and also hydro air in my boat But very reliable setup in extreme August day heats waterpossum 1 Dprice priceheatingair.com
