Kayak Tournament

   July 30th at 5:45 am   It will be the First Tournament and we will meet at Hartley Access Launch parking lot It will be a Road Runner then WEIGH-IN will be between 3:15-330 back at the same ACCESS

I might be interested depending on when you want to do this.  I literally just bought a Kayak a little over a week ago.  I haven't got it on the water yet.  So I'll want to get used to it before I go to casting and reeling in.

I think we are at the time and age that Kayak fishing will be like "Canoe fishing on steroids". It is really gaining in popularity. One thing we will all have to watch out for is the safety factor of being in a Kayak on a lake. I personally think it should be mandated that all kayaks on lakes should have a flag on a pole sticking up in the air 4 feet or so. Believe me it will keep someone from getting run over by a Bass boat someday. I am all for the Kayak fishing and the tournaments too. Go for it guys.

I actually had some Amish guys that I know seen me come full speed about 10 feet from me a few years ago. And I've had several people tell me that they couldn't see me. I'm gonna be gettin a hi viz t shirt to start wearing when I'm out in my kayak
