mrgungho Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Good morning all! Headed down from Springpatch to fish a small night tourney this evening. (tucker hollow) I was wondering if there were any recommendations on a specific bait that may be working best. We launch at 7P and I am planning on topwater until dark then go single spin and big worm with some salt craws and jigs mixed in, maybe even a little buzz bait here and there. Thanks in advance for any advice you may have for me! "Some go to church and think about fishing, others go fishing and think about God."
Rob P Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 Before your topwater bite try shallow cranks 0-3' deep. It seems that topwater bite is a short window, so fish a little deeper prior to dusk but in the sun. Seems to work for us.

I'll re-tie the ole' bandit rootbeer and roll with it. "Some go to church and think about fishing, others go fishing and think about God."
