Water levels

Havent been on the James recently, has water level gotten back down to normal yet? Was thinking of wading around marble ground one evening this week, but high water makes wading that area difficult.

I was there a few days ago.  The water was about a foot or more above normal for that spot.  It was tough wading back upstream as you already know the water flows pretty quickly through there.
