I was up last weekend.  The river arms are muddy but the main lake is in good shape.  Crappie are pretty small.   We each caught a limit of nine inch or longer fish by 10:00 AM Sunday morning.

Anyone make it out on Mark Twain the last few days? If so, anything biting? I'm thinking of coming up there with the kayak again sometime this spring if I can help it.

You can catch some pretty decent crappie right now if you are willing to brave the cold.

I just dipped for crappie.  Eight foot down in 14 feet of water.   Pretty standard Mark Twain pattern.
