chub minnow Posted August 8, 2016 Posted August 8, 2016 While Hickory is much closer to Cherry Corners, I'd say Capps is more likely due to the dam just upstream of Hickory Creek. I kinda doubt that fish jumped over the dam at Lime Kiln park.
drew03cmc Posted August 10, 2016 Posted August 10, 2016 I caught one 2 miles below Capps, I've heard of them from all over Shoal, no doubt from some places that have been used as stocking grounds throughout the years. Andy
dan hufferd Posted August 13, 2016 Posted August 13, 2016 There used to be a spring feed trout farm on Old Ritchy rd north of Granby. It was/is in the river bottom. Who know how many times it has flooded. I took my kids there when they were little, getting close to 20 years ago now.
Members FishTastic Posted February 25, 2017 Members Posted February 25, 2017 What a great sign! If the Shoal can support trout then it must be a pretty healthy stream. Fantastic!
