went today and fished from the bank which is a futile effort. water up in the bushes and bank access is very limited. caught one 6" bass on the ned so I broke out some crank baits and spinner baits to tune them so it wasn't a total wasted day but then going fishing is never a waste of time

That's a hard place to fish on foot for sure. Been out there a couple of times in a kayak and that's a much better option that opens up a lot more possibilities and actually allows you to fish those flooded bushes.
