Guess now that Labor Day is over, everyone is staying home.

For whatever reason there's only a few people that fish up there among us on this forum. Either that or they don't post much. I hope to go up there once more this fall but I'm not sure if I'll make it or if I do, when.

I fished in the Lick Creek branch about three weeks ago. Caught quite a few crappie, but they were running small, about 8-10 inches. We did not use minnows.  All were caught on crappie jigs next to the stickups. I was told that the bigger ones would turn on in early October.

get out the ole' bucket of minnows and slip bobbers set 8 feet down tight on some cover boom your good easy fishing
