rps Posted September 24, 2016 Posted September 24, 2016 Went out at 7:30 this morning and started fishing for walleye immediately. I will note that the bass were active on top until nearly 9:00. Just didn't fish for them. Based on a tip from Ken Greenwood, I fished a flicker shad between 15 and 19 feet deep. I caught three walleye, two of which were keepers. I also caught three bass, oneĀ of which was a largemouth around 18 inches. Sorry no pictures. The key seemed to be to find brush in 20 to 30 feet of water and pull the crank through the tops.
