slothman Posted October 10, 2016 Posted October 10, 2016 SLOW!!! Super slow. Started early in the morning and fished until early afternoon. Caught 2 shorties on a square bill early in the morning in the back of a cove. That was it for our bites all day. We were fishing spooks, buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, deep diving cranks, medium diving cranks, square bills, Texas rigged worms, jigs, you name it. We couldn't buy a bite. We were mostly on the Pomme arm. Fished the Lindley a little too. Water temp was around 72-73. We we saw a lot of other people running all over the lake. I'm assuming that they were having just as much trouble. Everyone we talked to seemed to have a similar story tough bite all weekend is the word I got. Anybody doing any better? Any established patterns working for anyone? What are you catching them on?
