Wow thanks Dan, I've gone from being concerned the timing was going to be bad to counting down the minutes again since you posted your reports.  Come on Thursday!

Dan- would you guess starting out at PC and moving north toward RB a week from today to be a good general strategy?

A week from now?  Yes that would probably be best.  There moving around a lot.  Really the best advice I can give is to cover water.  I don't sit on a spot more than a hour unless i get a bite.   I go through 50 gallons of fuel about every 3-4 trips hunting them down.   Even more sometimes!

Well coming from a guy who hasnt burned 50 gallons of fuel this year (due to lack of use not efficiency) I look forward to it!  Thanks for the report, thats about all I can do is read and ask questions for now.

Great job Dan.

I'm glad to see people starting to pick up top water bite. I will be out in the morning If you see a white triton that's me, stop by and say hi

I did not fish much this summer  so I ready to hit it hard

20 MPH winds today with a steady 12 mph wind, doubt if top water paid off for very many people today. Hard to find a protected cove on Beaver, seems it just bounces off and comes right back at you.

Tomorrow looks better.

For topwater do you guys drive around trying to spot them or are you marking fish and setting up on them with free lines and down lines with topwater lures on standby?  Ive fished this lake many times in March, so I'm accustomed to pulling live bait and 6-10 rods.  I'm anticipating doing about the same with more free lines/planers and hoping to catch them busting surface at some point.
