State Park 11/8

Put in at state park marina at daylight and fished til bout 2. Great day on the water but not great fishing. Caught bout 15 bass or so with 2 small keepers. Did catch about a 3lb white bass though. Couldn't find a pattern. Fished clearer water and also ran up to some stained water. Fished main lake to back of pockets. Caught them on buzzbait, crank, spinnerbait, jig, and finesse worm. One keep on spinnerbait and one on crank. Surely it's got to get good here soon...

I talked to a buddy of mine that was down there last weekend. He killed em on top water. Mostly a spook. His lady friend on a Pop R. Even in the middle of the day.

I agree its got to break wide open with these colder nights! Water temperature gets below 60 they should really start feeding heavy getting ready for winter.

Idk why but haven't thrown a spook or pop-r much this fall, keep hoping for good buzzbait bite, especially since catches bigger fish a lot of times

My buddy claimed he couldnt catch em on a buzzbait. Blowing up his spook!!

I was out on Saturday morning with a buddy and we caught them good on the 90 Whopper Plopper.
