Guest Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Fished Norfork from sun-up to sun-down and landed 17 bass with only 3 keepers (1 spot and 2 largemouth). The biggest bass I landed was around 2.5 lbs. Caught most of the bass in creek arms and coves on either square bills or medium running cranks. I also caught a couple on jigs and spinnerbaits. Water temp was around 66 degrees.
Riverwhy Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Did you notice any hybrid or white activity?
Guest Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 No, I hardly saw any fish busting bait. I saw some shad in the creek arms and marked them on my graph, but there weren't as many shad around where I was fishing as I expected there to be.
Riverwhy Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 Thank you for posting. I'm pretty much done until April.
mojorig Posted November 18, 2016 Posted November 18, 2016 We conducted our fall bass sampling last week and found bass in similar areas as Micropterus described around the lake. Jeremy Risley District Fisheries Supervisor AGFC Mountain Home Office - 1-877-425-7577 Email: Jeremy.Risley@agfc.ar.gov
