nice crappie

Went up Tuesday and had 12 very nice keeper crappie. Caught a ton of little ones too but the nice keepers make it worth it. sure nice to be retired and pick a day when the sun is out and no wind. Beautiful on the lake.  caught crappie in the brush piles around Cedar Ridge. 20 to 24 feet of water. All on jigs. Some hit light and some just slammed it. almost seems like the better ones were hitting it light. Fried Crappie fillets for supper tonight. Oh Boy Yeah!!!!!

Way to go! Nothing like a fresh crappie fry! Makes my mouth water just thinking about it.
