By the time I was back there it was cold and windy, so I trolled a Flickr shad around for a while and got a drum. Lol as for bass, I had on a white or black buzzbait and tried to cover water. The bass was off a lay down I got on the buzzbait. No hits around docks and I had a hard time finding many laydowns to try and get a pattern on. Bounce around a little and you will find them, of course shad are key this time of year M_Taylor 1
M_Taylor Posted November 24, 2016 Author Posted November 24, 2016 Thanks. I appreciate all the help. I figured out some things this morning and had some success. I'll post later. All I can say is, I wish our Thanksgiving dinner could wait until dark cuz I'd still be out there! WeekendWarrior 1
Coosa Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 I will be fishing starting early in the am tommorow. I will report back. I'm skeptical though as I have never really fished the lake. I'm more of a river man. Glad I logged on today, lots of helpful stuff here
Coosa Posted November 26, 2016 Posted November 26, 2016 Fishing was pretty slow. We put in at Coffman beach. We managed about 10 LM total with the biggest being 4.2 lbs. All the rest were under 15 in. Whopper ploppers and buzzbaits was all we could get bit on. I wanted to slow down and try some bottom stuff but my trolling motor man was moving a little fast. Good time though....Fishing in the middle with 3 people in a 17' boat sucks
