Dan the fisherman Posted December 1, 2016 Posted December 1, 2016 Got out yesterday morning for a few hours with a buddy. The morning started out good with a hook up in the first ten minutes. We landed that fish and had a couple more hook ups but they didn't make it to the boat. The wind picked up after that and the bit shut down. Water temp was 56-57. We fished up river. I have a feeling I should have been near the islands though. But I guess I shouldn't complain sense we did get one. I just always have the lingering feeling I could have done better some where else. I could have remedied that and hit the islands if I had the time yesterday, but had things to do at noon so was unable to try. Pretty much it boils down to the fish being scattered, got the one yesterday up river and I got one in the islands Sunday. Go figure lol. Remember with water temps in the 50s, life preservers r a must this time of the year. Good luck out there fellas and stay safe. StriperJunkie 1
