12-3 bass bit well

I got a later start yesterday got to mutton about 10am  launched  and fished  right around the area    Water 51.3 I had a ball with a spinnerbait buzzing it very quickly under surface but never hooked up on it  

I  had a  boat pull in and take control of the spot 

I  Said ok  and  picked a   jig  and fished  a 10 yard stretch and  caught 4   ??  Nice easterly strong breeze coming out   I left the spot to the triton  and fished on other side and caught a few shorts water same temp

I ran down the lake a few miles  and fished main river  banks   50.1 Small transition places  and  caught a slightly better limit on a jig  with strong southerly wind 

I tied a crank bait on and had a few push it

 I kinda snag them a bit and they would tear loose eventually   

I fished most of the day And continually caught nice fish  about 3:15 I came back to my starting poin and buzzed a spinnerbait all over again   Blanked again

I fished my way back to ramp with a jig  and caught another limit  

i was loaded and on road by 4 pm

i fished alone again  but had a blast

 I have enjoyed several of your posts to this site. The fish you caught are awesome. I would like to congratulate you on becoming proficient with the Bass Jig. Personally feel it is the greatest lure ever invented. I also feel the fish you catch are in general better fish. THanks for sharing your success with us. Stay with the Jig........... winter is close............... it will be a fish catcher all winter long !!!!

Great report D.  It is interesting how many ways people can catch them in the same areas at the same time of year.  Fish to your strengths!  Hey guys my buddy and I are going to fish the Angler's Choice series next year on Lake O.  Neither of us have fished Lake O much.  I have fished it 2 times and my buddy one time.  If any one fishes up there and would like to give us some pointers it would be greatly appreciated.
