nhornback Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Put in around 830 to drizzle and ran into back 3rd of Google creek. caught one keep on a square bill but slow action in general; water temp 50.5. ran to the back of another creek to no avail so decided to run toward the dam in search of warmer water. Found 53.2 water in hawker branch and caught 4 with 3 keeps on wind blown side on chunky rock on a 3xd. Ran into cove by old state park and caught 3 more keeps on a wart before wrapping up the day about 2. Didn't catch a ton but caught mostly keepers from 15-18 inches. all but one came on the inside and outside edges of cuts in the back half of creeks on chunck rock Hammer time, Jmontgo1246, zarraspook and 5 others 8

nhornback Posted December 5, 2016 Author Posted December 5, 2016 Nothing huge, a couple had bellies but didn't put them to scales. assumed the biggest was close to 3.5. had to really slow down and crawl the cranks to get bites. I'm trying to upload pics but phone isn't cooperating
Jmontgo1246 Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Thanks for the report!! Sounds like a good day!!
redshad Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 Thanks for the report. The wart bite should be getting good for the next few weeks. I hope it doesn't stay so cold its to tough to fish. I am a little thin blooded. LOL I don't like it much when the high is only 30. I'll stay home and make skirts. NO Dprice, not the kind you wear. hehe.
