Members RickG Posted March 19, 2007 Members Posted March 19, 2007 After much prompting from MrDucky to introduce my self here it goes. I've recieved the newsletter from Phil for years. I've been a spin fisherman for years started as a child back in PA. Finally picked up a fly rod a few years ago. Have dabbled at fly tying ( The dust bunnies under the bed resemmble flies better ) Maybe some day I'll get the hang of it.

Terry Beeson Posted March 20, 2007 Posted March 20, 2007 Greetings and salutations, Rick... Grew up in PA without a fly rod in your hands? Isn't that blasphemy in the central part of the state? Hang in there... It's taken me 7 years to get as bad as I am... Members RickG Posted March 27, 2007 Author Members Posted March 27, 2007 Well MrDucky some of us don't have those easy work schedules that allow all that fishing time. Hope you did well at Capps today.
gonefishin Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Welcome RickG. I used to live in Aurora. I fished at Roaring River a lot when I lived there. Moved away a few years ago. I live closer to Taney and Bennett than Roaring River nowadays. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759
