Guest Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 I got out today & caught a few crappie. Water was 49 degrees, stained 3-4ft visibility. I caught them suspended around deeper boat docks between hickory creek & the nursey pond. I was vertical jigging a bobby garland around fish attractors. It seemed like I was fishing underneath them. Next time, I will be bobber fishing 4-6ft deep. They're fairly shallow in the water column, about 7ft down in 20ft. Warm weather is on the way, I hope to get out again by friday.
Guest Posted February 6, 2017 Posted February 6, 2017 Here's a spot that I fished near dark. Somebody was sitting there all day. Hopefully they caught them. It's defiantly a boating hazard in low light.
