Members RobinHood Posted February 10, 2017 Members Posted February 10, 2017 Afternoon y'all. It's going to be a beautiful weekend! My girlfriend is new to fishing, and I'd like to take advantage of the nice weather to try and find her some fish (rules out fishing Fellows or Springfield). Any fish will do, as long as they bite. We will be in Bolivar this weekend, so I was thinking Stockton. Unfortunately, I don't have a boat, so we are limited to the bank. I've fished Stockton with friends that have boats, but I've never fished the bank. Anybody want to help a brother out with some bank fishing spots on Stockton? Brad N Steph 1
CoolHandFluke Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Saw some guys a while back catching a bunch of fish at Greenfield access from the bank. Catching crappie and white bass on both sides of the bridge on minnows with a bobber. Good luck. Let us know how you do.
redshad Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 The channel bank right by High Point boat ramp is a good bank fishing area. The ramp is closed due to the low water level.
wtr dogs Posted February 10, 2017 Posted February 10, 2017 Several of the launch ramps have fishing docks (if they are in the water}. I have heard good stories about the fishing dock at Masters. Good Luck!!! Home of the the dam of 2009 AKC National Debry Champion.--AMMOAMMO
