Fish finder placement

If you only have one fish finder would you mount it on the bow, trolling motor, or the transom?

Depends on what kind of fishing you do, and what type of boat you have. I have a tiller and strictly fish for Walleyes. I do a lot of trolling and my trolling motor is not always in the water. So mine is on the transom and I can also control my trolling motor from the back of the boat where I do all of my fishing. I rarely fish from the bow. I don't bass fish but I would imagine if you are fishing from the bow, you would want it mounted on the trolling motor.

If it has GPS then i would say on the console as thats when you would be using the GPS. If not then on the bow.
