Gavin Posted March 23, 2007 Posted March 23, 2007 Sounds like a great time...I dont think that they stock browns below Cedargrove because the National Park Service would probably object to it. I catch one every year or two, but I wouldnt call it common. Cheers.
Sam Potter Posted March 27, 2007 Posted March 27, 2007 Good morning, I wanted to add my two cents to the brown trout caught below Cedar. Brown trout are not stocked below Cedar Grove. They drift down below the stocking above Cedar but it is possible for an occasional one to be mixed in with the rainbows when they are stocked. Occasionally there are rainbows mixed in with the browns when they are stocked, so it is possible that a few browns could be mixed in with the rainbows that are stocked below Cedar, but the most of them drift down.
