Pat Magee Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 I have a barely used Redington Crosswater 5WT that is great for anyone looking to start fly-fishing. It is a 4 piece rod and comes with a hard sided carrying case. It is already loaded with Rio Camolux fly line and am happy to throw in all my extra leaders and tippets as well. I also have around 1500 flies (for local Missouri waters: mostly trout and some bass) from various places (Orvis, Feathercraft, Bass Pro, and Hargroves) and several really nice fly boxes. One of the fly boxes comes with the line threader pieces (I am sure there is some technical term for this ) that make it a lot easier to thread on small flies. I will add some pictures tonight when I get home for anyone that might be interested. I just hate to see it gather dust due to the fact I just didn't get that into fly fishing. Someone else should definitely be out there enjoying it! I also have a bunch of misc fly fishing stuff as well (books, floats, fly tying vice and box, etc.) Not sure what a good price for all of this might be so I am open to any offers. I think I probably paid something like 150 for the fly rod, 75 for the fly line, and probably around $1 a piece for each fly but I am open to any offers. MOsmallies 1

trythisonemv Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Good starter rod.bought dad a 6wt crosswater so he could let it sit on storage lol
Pat Magee Posted March 13, 2017 Author Posted March 13, 2017 That is exactly what mine does. It really does cast well for an entry level fly rod. I was also surprised the cork grips were just as nice as some of my higher end casting rods. @dave potts I got an offer for 50 for that case you were asking about so I went ahead and sold it to him, sorry!
dave potts Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 No problem Pat. Thanks for letting me know. Good luck on the rest.
