Do you guys have a video or tutorial on how to adjust the brakes on a Lews BB1 pro baitcaster?

The blue brake pads are making my head spin. ?

I'm trying to throw light weight crankbaits into the wind. (Wiggle wart)

Trophy you don't adjust them internally. That is done on the outside with numbers 1-10. It takes a little time to get it it dialed in with the ranking on the left and right. I believe I throw mine on around 5.5-7 depending on the wind and adjust the one on the right as well when I throw warts

Actually, you can do some adjusting internally....see video below.

Rod and line are going to play a big part as well.  Longer rod, lighter line - longer casts.  I've never thrown a Lew's reel but the breaking systems on the new reels are amazing.  I bought my son a Daiwa Tatula HD for a FL trip this winter, he's newer to bait casters and the first day it kept making an odd noise so that night I looked at it...he never set the spool tension it was all the way off and he fished with it all day no problem!  The noise was the spool actually vibrating left and right in its housing.

Alex is right. Leave the blue brake pads alone. You can't adjust them anyway.

I just had a 30 min conversation with a Lews Tech. I would suggest folks give them a call if they're confused like me. There are so many different models & styles. LFS & SLP, etc

i learned a lot. Apparently you don't have to "thumb" the BB1 pro thanks to the brake pads. Whereas you have to thumb the standard BB1.

Lots of variations between models & braking systems. I think the tournament MB will be suitable for my square bill rod, so it's going to be my next purchase.
