Basfis Posted March 18, 2017 Posted March 18, 2017 I'll start by saying this is fear based. Blew one up this week, replacing it with a freshly built direct injected engine. I doubt the gas in my tank caused the issue at hand since it put a hole in the block but (back to the fear part) I'm wanting to hedge my bets on fuel cleanliness and avoid pump/injector problems. Thinking about adding another 10 micron fuel filter in the bilge area. Any cons?
