Mike jones Posted March 21, 2017 Posted March 21, 2017 I have the opportunity to go fish the Costa on Dardenelle on the non boater side with no out of pocket cost except my gas to drive down there..so I better take advantage of it! Anyone been down that way? Thanks
Guest Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 I've fished it many times. in 2007, I fished the FLW series as a co-angler. I had several chances to catch a 5lber & lost it at the boat or got busted off. Thats fishing. you might check the get5bass website. I know they've been catching your typical 17-20lb bags down there.
RyanG Posted March 22, 2017 Posted March 22, 2017 Mike, I'm down here all week for a college tourney. So far it's been tough but id be glad to keep ya updated on what I can put together down here. I've always done much better below the dam, locked down and caught em well last time when the lake was super tough. I'll keep you updated though! Mike jones 1

Was that the FLW series in April that you fished there? I think I fished that one too 10 minutes ago, RyanG said: Mike, I'm down here all week for a college tourney. Mainly I'm curious to know what stage most of the fish are in. I know the Beaver fish are changing rapidly!!!!!

Sore Thumbs Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Check out Spadra area. Always good this time of year but I'm afraid everyone else will be In there trying it out as well. Good luck! Mike jones 1
RyanG Posted March 23, 2017 Posted March 23, 2017 Mike they are all over the place down here as well. Water is staying around 60 until late in the day, then it'll clime up to mid 60s or so. It's about to get warmer this weekend though. There's fish still staging up, fish in the spawning flats, kinda all over the place. Lol. Mike jones 1
