Guest rwolfe Posted March 26, 2007 Posted March 26, 2007 Well they finally shut the water off around 5:30, so we headed down to our "honey hole" by the island. I fished a weighted olive scud from 18" to 4 1/2' and they were hitting it regardless of the depth. Mom was fishing a pink jig w/ a red tail and the other in our group was fishing a cream colored jig. I don't think it mattered much what we threw at them, they were hitting it all. We caught quite a few fat ones in the slot and even the 12 and unders were plump. Probably caught 30 between us in 2 hours. We were thrilled considering we've been relegated to the Fall Creek dock the past 2 days. Hope to get back out tomorrow morning if they aren't running anything over 2.
