Lurked from time to time for years. Moved out of the Ozarks so haven't been fishing as much down that way last few years. Grew up fishing Taneycomo, Table Rock, Stockton, and any creek or river in between. Crane Creek, North Fork, Spring River, Current, Big & Little Sugar, etc.  Some of my favorite fishing memories are from strippin woolies below TR dam at night back when I was young and had all the time in the world and didn't need sleep before getting to school or work the next day in Springfield. Taneycomo always a special place overall due to family fishing trips as a youngster. Hope to get the fly-rod back out sometime soon. It's been too long

Was actually on Taneycomo last Friday before the storms and water rise. Good fishing most of the afternoon just above 65 down to the landing. Caught a couple between Lilleys and Cooper Access. Not much luck up by Fall Creek. We stayed at OTR as Lilley's was booked when we planned our trip. Water was up 2 feet Saturday morning and I had no desire to be on the lake with more storms and water rises expected.  Went up to the dam and fished back water, couple of hits on jigs was all. Got back just before Saturday PM storms started and not long after Branson FD was coming down the road to the resorts. Heeded the Branson FD evacuation request on Saturday evening. I live in the Jeff City area now. Mainly bank fish the city parks here when I have time. When the kids get a bit older will be going to Bennett more often.
