Hey, I am looking for some new tacticts to use in this certain situation. My creek was stocked with trout a month ago (They're eating natural food now) and its the kind of creek with 10 foot cliffs with deep pockets on the outside of each turn, but shallow on the inside of each turn. What are some new ideas for fishing those deep pockets? I use a variety of spinners and crankbaits that the trout follow but never take. I also nymph.

If you are using spinning gear a white or gray or natural colored marabou jig can be pretty good. Just figure out the retrieve they want.

Pop it off the bottom... twitch while reeling at different depths.

You can try little grubs or trout worms as well.
