Thinking of going but long drive for me. Anyone been? Still running water?

They should be for awhile. From what I hear its the same as it has been for the last three weeks or more.  Tons of eater size blue cats,  some nice flathead being caught on spoons from the west side and hybrids in the foam from the bank on the east side. Crappie off the docks in the dead channel.

Water is still being ran but not like it has in the past couple of weeks.  TOW on Sunday at MM81 was right at 70.  It is warmer up in Cole Camp Creek and the shallower areas.  Once you get past Cardinal Cove at MM71 it drops down to about 65.  I went out for simply a boat ride instead of fishing.  There really isn't as much debris as there was a few weeks ago. I will be out this weekend this past weekend.
