Members FishPharm Posted June 28, 2017 Members Posted June 28, 2017 Got out early Tuesday in an attempt to find some walleye. Only ended up with one but found plenty of bass, mostly small, handful of bluegill and channel cats. Everything came from 10-15 fow on bluff banks. Seemed like the best action was where the bluff transitioned into chunk rock on the west side of the lake. (Wind was blowing from the east) launched at Hartley and fished around the bridge there and down into hawker branch ewlech, wtr dogs and lmt out 3
lmt out Posted June 29, 2017 Posted June 29, 2017 What was your fishing method? Of you don't mind me asking.
Members FishPharm Posted June 29, 2017 Author Members Posted June 29, 2017 Not one bit. I primarily used different jig heads with a nightcrawler. casted up towards the rocks and swam it back or drifted with it a couple feet off the bottom. I tried bottom bouncing but no luck. I also vertical jigged some brush piles but not much luck there either. I have a hard time staying on top of the brush pile even, in the slightest bit of wind.
