Springfield Lake

Hello all,

I just got back from a deployment, so naturally I haven't been able to fish in a loong time. I'm going out to Springfield Lake today or tomorrow. Any reports? Anyone been out lately? Appreciate any input.

First of all thank you for your service and sacrifice and Welcome Back!  I was out Friday morning on the James not too far away from Springfield Lake and caught 3 bass on a topwater lure.  If you look at the James River forum there is that and other reports.  Water still seemed to be plenty warm.  The cooler temps could definitely change things though.  Good luck and Happy belated Birthday!
