John Berry Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 I am selling my old Shawnee. It is the older narrow boat. It is in good shape. Pedastal seats, dry lockers, custom top. It comes with a trailer and motor. It is ready to fish. The motor is a ten year old 15 horse evinrude with ten hours on it. Electric start complete with battery. I am ready to sell! troutchaser Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Cuantos cuentas? (How much?) I am genuinely interested. Paul Rone
John Berry Posted April 12, 2007 Author Posted April 12, 2007 Yes, you can drive this fine river craft for the paltry sum of $1,800.00. It is currently located in my back yard in down town Cotter, AR and is available for inspection. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted April 12, 2007 Root Admin Posted April 12, 2007 Gezzz... a Shawnee cost $1350 and with the trailer... you're throwing the motor in for free! I'd jump on this one, if I already didn't have 12 Shawnees myself. May be I ship it up to King Salmon!!
RiverRunner Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 That's a good deal for someone. IMHO, Shawnees are the best river boats out there, Gay builds every boat one at a time and his craftsmanship is unsurpassed. Unfortunatlely, the wait for a new boat is over 2 years from what I hear. I'd like to get a newer wider one someday.
Danimal Posted April 12, 2007 Posted April 12, 2007 Good deal indeed. My brother in law owns two of them (one narrow and one wide), he says he likes the narrow model better. Somebody better nab it. Dan-o RELEASE THOSE BROWNIES!!
John Berry Posted April 19, 2007 Author Posted April 19, 2007 I sold the Mighty Shawnee to the first guy that looked at it. John Berry OAF CONTRIBUTOR Fly Fishing For Trout (870)435-2169 http://www.berrybrothersguides.com berrybrothers@infodash.com
