semble Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 I may gave been catching a few Z's in the blind last Sunday, when I heard my buddy from the opposite end of the blind mutter, "Whoa... out front..." I opened my eyes to a wall of Wood ducks passing 20 yards in front of us. A never ending wall of wood ducks that looked like a flock of black birds flying by. We all just sat there and stared as they flew through; it never even crossed our minds to reach for our guns. This morning I just happened to look down to the other end of the blind as a Cardinal flew in and accosted my hunting partner before exiting out my shooting hole. I'm not sure which one was freaked out more, the cardinal or my buddy.
jdmidwest Posted November 10, 2017 Posted November 10, 2017 I used to have a pet Kingfisher in a blind we hunted, he would perch on one point of the blind and scan the lake for fish. We would feed the perch in front of that blind bread while hunting to pass the time. Chummin for the kingfisher.
