IL Fisherman Posted November 21, 2017 Posted November 21, 2017 Hey guys. Bringing my nephew down with me. He is 14. At what age is a fishing license required.

Your nephew doesn't need one. 15 years of age or younger, DOES NOT require a permit. Your nephew will not need one.

In Missouri it is 16 and older needs a permit. 15 and younger does not. https://huntfish.mdc.mo.gov/permits/fishing-permit-information Remember that if you plan on fishing in any of the Arkansas areas of Table Rock you will also need an Arkansas permit since you are a non-resident of MO. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

I think I typed out what I wished it was rather than what it really is....thanks for the correction since I'm brain-dead at work.
