Just to let you all know..

Some (if not most) of you all knew I was going to have my gall bladder removed yesterday...

UPDATE: It was a seccess... Im doing fine alittle sore.. and it hurts when I cough.. and when those dang cats jump on me.. the next to do so will be shaved and made into fly dubbing..LOL

The docter said the reason I was getting so sick all the time was I had a blockage because of one.. but it was over 10mm (gall stone).. which means it was so big it couldnt pass though anything.. and it keep the smaller ones from escaping into other organs.. after they got them all out.. I had a total of 14.. 4of them was over 5mm...

If any of you have bad heartburn or certain foods keep you up all night with a sick, gasy pressure, or blotted feeling.. get your self check out... they told me I was lucky to get there when I did.. a few more days or weeks it could have ruptured... That would have been deadly!!

Now for the fishing part (WOO HOO)...

As soon as I got home last night I sat down and tyed a few flies... LOL... had to on my new vise, Momma took my tools away and told me to go lay down.

Then when I asked her what we were doing this weekend.. she said "NO Fishing for 2 week".. well thats not gonna happen.. I'll be fishing by the first of next week... If not by sunday!!!

Feel better soon. If you do use one of the cats hair for dubbing, and if you catch a catfish with that fly, would the catfish then be considered a cannibal?

glad to hear your feeling ok leonard. my dad had that opperation years ago and man they gave him a zipper and he was laid up a while in the hospital. they must have come a long way on that opperation. hope you have a quick and full recovery. dad says he can eat anything since hes had the gall bladder removed, the only thing is it doesnt stick with ya very long i guess lol

Well its been a week..

I still have staples (10) that are to come out on the 25 next wensday..

I was off the pain meds 2 days after the surgery.. and I feel great..

I started back to work on Monday.. and Momma stay I can go fishing now... so I going rain sleet hail or snow.. thurday evening..

I cant wait to hit the water again!!

3 new flies tied.. and I cant wait to try them..

Glad you are doing OK. I had mine out a few years ago. I got to take a ride in an Ambulance to get mine out LOL Seems it was Ganggreen. They said if it had broke they would have had to open me up with a can opener. Did you get it done with the three little scare's like I did. LOL Amazing how they can do things now days. Yes I got the 3 little incisions. well one is about 2inch (not so little)

This is what they told me... a gall bladder is about the size of your thumb...

Mine was so bad.. it was so infected.. it was the size of my fist.. (about 6x normal size)

And yes the sneezing part... WOW, OUCH, HOLY SMOLY "sailor talk *&^%*"... that the only time I remember its gone... THAT HURTS!!
