I'm an admitted "lurker" here on the board since I don't get out near as much as I'd like to. I enjoy seeing your crappie updates and pics Lance. For Christmas I splurged for rod holders and 4 rods to start trying to spider rig. Never done it before but anxious to give it a shot. My question for now is where do you usually buy your minnows and how many do you tend to use per trip. I live in goshen so Southtown in Fayetteville is the closest place I know of.

I use Southtown minnows.  There is a Verlero (spelling?) gas station on Hwy 412 just east of Sanora Baptist Church in Sonora that sells them too.   They count out everyone of them though😂.

I usually buy 5 dozen.  Depends on the bite as well, if slow or not.

Thanks!  I didn't realize the gas station there even carried them!
